WASHINGTON – Today, during a House Agriculture Committee markup on cryptocurrency, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) introduced an amendment to the bipartisan cryptocurrency regulation bill which would strengthen regulations on the crypto industry, namely regarding the provisional registration framework administered by the CFTC and SEC. WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) sent a letter to Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell calling for a pause on interest rate hikes, citing strong, ongoing signs of economic normalization in her Dallas district.
