WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) introduced the bipartisan Senior Nutrition Task Force Act to establish a special working group to combat hunger and malnutrition among senior citizens and adults with disabilities. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01) co-leads the House bill, and Senators Susan Collins (ME) and Bob Casey (PA) introduced a companion bill in the Senate.
WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) joined Republican Rep. Marc Molinaro (NY-19) introducing the Delivering For Rural Seniors Act. This bipartisan legislation would allow seniors living in rural areas, seniors with disabilities, and those with mobility or transportation issues to receive home delivery services from food banks participating in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program.

In 2022, President Biden took action to grant student loan debt relief under authority granted to Secretary of Education by the HEROES Act passed by Congress and signed into law in 2003.
