Amid an extremist Supreme Court majority, Congresswoman Crockett is determined to file and pass safeguards for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community. WASHINGTON – Representative Jasmine Crockett issued the following statement applauding an executive order issued last week by the Biden administration to expand access to child and home care and invest in the care workforce. The order directs federal agencies to consider requiring contractors to expand child care for their employees, and pushes all federal agencies to pursue opportunities to expand employee access to child care and expands home-based care access for veterans.

Democratic women in the House freshmen class that Rep. Jill Tokuda of Hawaii called “our sisterhood” came together Thursday in Baltimore as part of their caucus held its annual retreat.
Among the new members joining Clark was Rep. Jasmine Crockett, who succeeded retired fellow Democratic Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson in a Dallas-based district. Crockett was among the Black freshmen to highlight the varied experiences and backgrounds of the caucus.
