Crockett Commemorates the Life of Amber Carr, Older Sister of Atatiana Jefferson
WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) issued the below statement following the death of Amber Carr, 33 of Fort Worth, Texas:
“It hurts my heart to hear of the news of Amber Carr’s passing. Words are not enough to describe the pain the Carr-Jefferson family must be feeling, not only through their grief of Atatiana Jefferson’s tragic death, but now the death of her older sister, Amber. I had the honor of knowing Amber and will always remember her genuine kindness, positivity, and concern for the common good of all of us. Amber was a beloved mother and admired leader in her community who had her whole life in front of her. Our community feels the weight of this loss heavily.
“One family should not have to endure this level of tragedy. I send my love and prayers to Atatiana and Amber’s sister Ashley Carr, Amber’s children Zion and Zayden, and the rest of the Carr-Jefferson family, on behalf of the people of Texas’ 30th Congressional District.”
