Crockett Applauds Multi-Billion Dollar Investment in Dallas Region from Democratic 'Investing in America' Policies

April 3, 2023

WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) applauded information released by the Biden Administration detailing over $435 billion in private sector investments across the country since the beginning of President Biden's administration, including at least $35.2 billion in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. These investments are creating good-paying jobs, including union jobs and jobs that don’t require a four-year degree in industries that will boost U.S. competitiveness, rebuild infrastructure, strengthen supply chains, and help build a clean energy economy.

"Democrats are done with outsourcing good-paying jobs and depending on other countries for products we need. Under President Biden, our pro-America policies - including the American Rescue Plan, Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, CHIPS and Science Act, and Inflation Reduction Act - have led to record investment in American manufacturing and clean energy sectors," said Rep. Crockett. "In the Dallas-Fort Worth area alone, we're seeing new facilities from GlobalWafers, Texas Instruments, and Evolve Biologics that are bringing in high-paying jobs and $35 billion in new investment. Now, we're producing the semiconductors and other critical technology needed for America's future right here in Texas!"
