Crockett Announces Support and Introduction of the PRO Act -- Stands in Solidarity with Texas Workers

WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) releases the following statement amid the introduction of the PRO Act in the 118th Congress:

“I am proud to join my House Democratic colleagues in the introduction of the PRO Act, a much-needed update to our nation’s labor laws.
 
“In beloved memory of unmistakable union leader Richard L. Trumka, the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act will be a game changer for workers across Texas. It will empower workers to join a union and allows unions to have free, fair, and safe elections. Today, I’m thinking of all the good this legislation will do for business-forward communities like my district. Texas is home to some of the fastest growing industries, and North Texas is at the forefront of this growth. Workers deserve to share in this growth and prosperity, and I know the PRO Act can get us there. Let’s go PRO!”
