Congresswoman Crockett welcomes Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack to the House Agriculture Committee

WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) issued the following statement as Secretary Vilsack participates in the House Agriculture Committee today:

"I would like to thank our U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, for joining us in committee today. As a former Governor and lifelong public servant, he knows that food is medicine, and the American people need food to fuel our future. 2023 is the year of the Farm Bill, and I look forward to working closely with the Secretary to craft legislation that protects our nation's food supply, keeps all families fed, and invests in American farmers big and small.
