“House Democrats – and yes, a few Republicans – took action to stand up for the American people by voting to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits.

At the start of this year, Americans across the country saw their health insurance premiums rise after the enhanced ACA tax credits expired on December 31. For families already facing an affordability crisis, these higher costs were immediate and devastating.

A three-judge federal panel blocked Texas from using the racially discriminatory, newly drawn 2025 congressional map and ordered the state to return to the 2021 map for purposes of the 2026 elections. Greg Abbott and Donald Trump were reminded that God doesn’t like ugly—especially when that ugliness targets Texans.
