Statement from Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett on FAA Flight Reductions at Dallas Love Field and DFW Airport 

“Let’s be clear — the chaos we’re seeing at Dallas Love Field, DFW, and airports across this country is not some random accident. It’s a direct result of Republicans choosing to play political games rather than govern.  

Because of their reckless shutdown, air traffic controllers and TSA workers have been forced to work without pay for more than a month. Now, the FAA is being forced to reduce air traffic by 10% at 40 major airports, including both Dallas Love Field and DFW, just weeks before the holiday travel rush. That means fewer flights, longer delays, and more stress for millions of families. 

Republicans can try to blame Democrats all they want, but here’s the truth: they control the House, Senate, and White House. They are the party of dysfunction and repeatedly choose chaos over competence.  

The chaos we’re seeing is proof that the Republican Party has no plan for this country beyond pointing fingers and shifting blame. It’s time for Republicans to end their vacation, get back to work, do their jobs, and clean up their mess. The American people deserve better.”
